LG 55-inch 3D OLED HD TV Review

Welcome to the third dimension LW5600 delivers LG Cinema 3D technology and whole lot more. One of the most talked about products here at CES 2012 has been LG’s 55-inch OLED TV. The OLED (organic light emitting diode) technology has been around for a number of years. It lets you tap into the virtually limitless entertainment capabilities of Smart TV and enjoy better picture quality with LG's LED display technology.

If you want 3D like you get in the movie theater then LG's Cinema 3D TVs are the right 3D TV for you. Using the same 3D technology found in other 2012 LG 3D TVs, the 55" class (54.6" diagonal) EM9600 OLED TV allows you to easily enjoy amazing 3D content with lightweight glasses and incredible picture quality. LG Cinema 3D TVs also feature 2D to 3D conversion which allows you to watch your favorite 2D content in 3D.On a positive facility, the 55LM6700 offers excellent networking capabilities. It can connect via ethernet or Wi-Fi, and it offers all the major streaming services: Cinema-now, Hulu, Facebook, MLB.com, Netflix, Twitter, Vudu, and YouTube, among others. A special 3D department offers several stereoscopic streams, including some underwater footage that really shows off the technology (and the dolphins). You can access many of these application via the remote's Home button, which brings up pages of options. You can also enjoy your own videos, music, and photos, pictures, either via a flash drive plugged into one of the 55LM6700's three side-mounted USB ports, or over your local network. The latter requires your PC to be running DLNA server software, such as Windows Media Player. The 55LM6700's manual doesn't list supported media formats, but my tests showed that the TV plays .wma music files as well as .mp3s. This TV is the top of the line in the 55 inch size until the new 55em9600 oled lg comes out. It performs great has an incredible picture, advanced features and provides an unmatched 3D viewing experience. Source:epgallery
