The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S (Xperia LT18) is a high-end
smartphone developed by Sony Ericsson running with by Google's OS Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). It is an upgrade of the Xperia Arc.
The device's primary improvement over its predecessor is a 1.4 GHz Scorpion Snapdragon CPU, compared to the same model at 1.0 GHz in the Arc. Aside from the CPU speed upgrade, additional hardware remains unchanged.
Sony Mobile Communications officially confirmed via their facebook page that the Xperia arc S along with the Mini Pro it would not receive the Android 4.1
Jelly Bean update, It is being assumed that the rest of the 2011 Xperia smartphones will not receive the update too, But at the moment only the Xperia arc S and the Mini Pro have had an official statement regarding the Jelly bean update.
